In the spring of 2005, the BMW M6 debuted with a 507 hp V10 engine. The M version of the internally named E63 model was also available as a convertible from 2006. In tests by the trade press, the M6 Coupé with Launch Control sprinted from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, from 0 to 200 km/h in 12.8 seconds. The vehicle characteristics were adaptable, for example the springs (comfort, normal, sport) or the shift speed of the 7-speed automatic transmission could be adjusted. One of the special features of the coupé was the roof made of carbon fibre material: this measure ensured a lower centre of gravity for the vehicle. By the end of production in 2010, BMW had built just over 14,000 units of the M6. Under the name M6 Competition Limited Edition, BMW launched a special series of only 100 copies.

This coupé with the FIN WBSEH91050B780818 comes from German first delivery and was registered for the first time in March 2010. From the history – which consists, among other things, of a checkbook and various documents – the number of holders of 2 people can also be determined. First-hand, the car was owned by BMW Munich. The individual metallic paint called "Frozen Grey Metallic" immediately catches the eye with this M6 special model: According to the seller, repainting has sometimes not yet been done, the matt coating is in a perfect state of preservation. No repainting has been done. All add-on parts of the M6 Competition Limited Edition, such as the bonnet with light edges and carbon roof, are also in very good shape. BMW modified the chassis for the M6 Competition Limited Edition: suspension, dampers and anti-roll bars were revised, and there was also a lowering of 10mm at the front – 12mm at the rear.

If you open the door of this M6, you will immediately see the lettering "M6 Competition" on the door sills: This is intended to underline the exclusivity of the limited special model. The next thing that stands out is the rich leather interior: under the name "Merino", the interior presents itself, in which the seats, the dashboard, the glove compartment, the armrest as well as the door and side panels are found entirely in leather. Of course, the 3-spoke multifunction steering wheel is also covered with leather. In addition to the rich standard equipment of this coupé, the M6 also has an Alcantara headliner and a head-up display as well as carbon décor elements in the interior. Each of the 100 M6 Competition Limited Editions can be clearly identified by means of a plaque on the headliner with sequential numbering.

This M6 has covered 36,800 kilometres since its delivery – this low mileage can be perfectly proven by a completely stamped checkbook and by additional invoices and former TÜV reports. All instruments can be attested to their proper functioning.
