Vehicle description
Model history:
In 1984, Mercedes-Benz took an important step towards the mass market with the 190E series. In the period from 1984 to 1993, around 700,000 units were produced. Equipped with a new four-cylinder engine and a top speed of 200 km/h, the 190E was celebrated by the masses. In conjunction with the body, designed by the well-known car designer Bruno Sacco, the Mercedes offered a combination of sportiness and elegance.
General information about the vehicle:
In the following auction you now have the chance to win such a vehicle for yourself. Since its first registration in 1984, this Mercedes-Benz 190E with the vehicle identification number WDB2010241A081001 has only been carefully and accident-free on the roads by a lady. The car still has TÜV until October 2023, has a popular H-plate, is roadworthy and also approved. In addition, a complete checkbook is available.
Exterior colour/varnish/body:
Clear lines and a classic design make the Mercedes an absolute eye-catcher. With its surfer blue paintwork, the body is absolutely convincing. The paint finish was harmoniously combined with black bumpers. However, it is assumed that the hood and fenders were repainted. Nevertheless, the car, as the pictures prove, makes a visually neat impression.
Exterior rims/brakes/chassis:
Simple, but visually appealing, silver 14-inch rims with original Mercedes plastic wheel covers round off the exterior design. 175/70R14 82H tires are mounted on the rims, which still have sufficient tread depth. The owner attests to the condition of the brake system of 70 to 90%. The chassis is characterized by a good balance between comfort and driving stability. In addition, there are no known discrepancies in the entire chassis.
Interior:
The beige interior offers a visually appealing contrast to the surfer blue paintwork. The seats with their beige fabric covers form the foundation of the interior. The timeless black dashboard with a classic four-spoke steering wheel completes the complete design. Other features include power steering, central locking and a Mercedes radio. According to the information available to us, the seat bolster of the driver's seat has slight damage and the front jukeboxes need to be replaced. Apart from that, the interior is in an age-appropriate condition.
Mileage:
The Mercedes was able to gain 224,000 kilometers of experience over almost 19 years. This value is completely comprehensible thanks to a complete checkbook. All instruments are fully functional.
Engine:
A four-cylinder engine with 1977 cc displacement and 122 hp in conjunction with a five-speed gearbox ensures a sporty driving experience. The manual transmission ensures precise transmission of the power and drive of the rear axle. The last service of the car took place in July 2019. Overall, the transmission and engine run without problems.
Subsoil:
Despite its age, the underbody confirms the well-groomed condition of the Mercedes. The underbody presents itself in a stainless and unwelded condition.
