Model history:

Just 1 year after the introduction of the new S-Class, Mercedes-Benz submitted a coupé series based on the top saloon as its premiere. The coupe body differed from the sedan by smaller headlights and the fog lights were integrated into the bumper of the coupe: this made the grille wider and included in the hood. The missing B-pillars and the side windows, which can also be completely retracted at the rear, resulted in a typical hardtop look. More than 70,000 units of the C 126 series were built - at the top of the model range was the 560 SEC, which was available without catalytic converter with up to 300 hp.

According to the seller's statements, this vehicle has a total of 3 owners and the main inspection has been redone. The so-called matching numbers are assumed.

Exterior colour/varnish/body:

Externally striking on the black 560 SEC: chrome wheel arch strips, a radiator grille painted entirely in black, a front spoiler, side skirts and a modified rear apron. At the rear, the model lettering, the AMG logo and the star are also kept in black. According to the current owner, all original AMG parts are complete and in good condition. Exterior rims/brakes/chassis:

The further appearance of this Mercedes-Benz Coupé is ensured by 16-inch BBS rims, which are mounted on Pirelli tyres. After consultation with the seller, neither the brake system nor the chassis can be removed from any deficits.

Interior:

Black leather seats can be found in the interior of the Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC: a 3-spoke sports steering wheel exudes a certain sportiness in the interior, otherwise the wood veneers create a luxurious ambience. The equipment of this coupe includes power windows front and rear, electric seat adjustment with memory, electric mirror adjustment, air conditioning, rear window heating and a JVC accessory radio.

Mileage

Almost 179,800 kilometres can be read from the 6-digit speedometer in the middle of the instrument cluster. All instruments and displays in the interior function perfectly.

Engine

The 300 hp 5.6-liter V8 engine in the front of this coupé ensures decent driving performance - the individual gears are engaged via a 4-speed automatic transmission and the power of the 8 cylinders is delivered to the road via the rear axle. The seller informs that a review will be done again before the handover.
