Model history

The Citroën C4G was introduced in 1931 as the final development stage of the C4 series and was produced until 1932. With its 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine, it produced around 32 hp and reached a top speed of around 95 km/h. A special feature was the introduction of the "Moteur Flottant" (vibration-decoupled engine), which reduced vibrations and significantly improved driving comfort. The C4G was available in various body variants, including saloon, roadster and commercial vehicle versions. Its robust construction also made it suitable for expeditions such as the "Croisière Jaune" through Asia. The C4G marked the end of the C4 series, before the more modern Rosalie series was introduced in 1932.
