Model history

The Porsche 911 Carrera GTS from the 991.2 series was offered from 2017 as a sporty variant within the 911 model family. With its 3.0-liter twin-turbo boxer engine and an output of around 450 hp, it offers significantly increased performance compared to the Carrera S – while remaining suitable for everyday use and comfortable. The GTS models are characterized by a wider body (on all-wheel drive versions), sportier chassis tuning, black exterior details, and a standard sports exhaust system and PASM chassis. The 991.2 GTS thus combines classic 911 virtues with modern technology and is considered by connoisseurs to be a particularly well-balanced variant – an ideal compromise between driving pleasure and everyday practicality.
