Porsche 911 964 America Roadster (1992)

Vehicle description

A 1992 Porsche 911 964 America Roadster is for sale in silver with black leather interior.

Highlights:

  • According to the vehicle identification number, this is a very rare 964 America Roadster. Only 250 of these were built, and their most striking feature is the lack of a rear seat (replaced by a storage compartment).
  • Normally, the America Roadster has the wide rear end of the Turbo (this is also entered in the paperwork for this car). However, this car has the narrow rear end and all-wheel drive – presumably both were retrofitted in the past.
  • Manual transmission
  • Classic color combination
  • Transmission has been overhauled in the past
  • Classic Analytics rating (2023) with a grade of 2 available
  • California car, extremely well-preserved underbody and no rust
  • Bumpers and lights converted to European specifications
  • H license plate
  • Last service in 2023 including oil change and transmission maintenance
  • Investments of approx. €10,000 by current owner

General information about the vehicle

  • Year of manufacture: 1992
  • First registration: USA, 07/1992
  • Location: 63179 Obertshausen, Germany
  • Number of vehicle owners: 5
  • No accidents are known – the Carfax is clean and no accidents are known in Germany either.
  • H license plate
  • TÜV until 2026
  • Ready to drive, but currently not registered

Model history

The Porsche 964 America Roadster was built in 1992 and 1993 in a limited edition of only 250 units. Technically based on the Carrera 2 Cabriolet, it was given the wide body, braking system, and chassis of the 964 Turbo. As a tribute to the 356 America Roadster, it combines classic roadster features with modern Porsche technology and is now considered a coveted collector's item.

Schmale/Breite Backen hin oder her
