High driving dynamics, high-revving engines and an expression of driving pleasure – in principle, BMW classics can almost always be described as such. In addition, they usually combine sportiness with reliability, a reasonable degree of comfort and high suitability for everyday use. In addition, there is an unmistakable design, especially at the front: the famous BMW kidney grille ensures a high recognition value. In November 1982, the first BMW 3 Series generation E21 was replaced by the E30: For the first time, customers were able to choose from significantly more body variants for the E30. From 1983, the four-door model was available, later there was also a station wagon and convertible version. Even more versatile than the variety of bodies are the engines with which the E30 was available.

In this auction there is the possibility to buy a BMW E30 with the 2.0-liter in-line six-cylinder: This 320i was originally registered in June 1990 in Spain, more precisely in Madrid – In Spain, the E30 had only one owner, later the car came to a owner in Germany, who finally passed the BMW on to an owner in Austria. As a paint color, this BMW wears "Alpine White II": Except for repainted areas on the front fenders and on the right rear side door, the body of this E30 is still made of first paint – according to the seller, this resulted in a paint layer thickness measurement. That's why there are a few traces of use corresponding to age after 32 years of vehicle age – but these can be noted as patina due to the bmw's first paint dress for the most part. Externally striking is the M-Tech installation on the BMW. In addition, a spoiler, which is kept in body color, can be seen at the rear. For a better visual appearance, the E30 has also been given original 14-inch BBS "White Edition" cross-spoke rims, which harmonize well with the paint color of the car and can be found in acceptable condition. In addition, an original "BMW Styling 30" rim set (14 inches) is available in good condition: These aluminum rims are mounted on new winter tires and served the owner as standing tires for wintering. In terms of braking, there are no TÜV-relevant defects, new springs were used on the chassis in 2020.

In the interior, the passengers sit on grey fabric seats, which are neither torn open nor particularly chafed on the side bolsters. Overall, with the exception of a porous leather of the M-Tech steering wheel, on which the seam also dissolves slightly, there are no major signs of wear in the interior: the dashboard is crack-free, the leather gear knob has no signs of wear and tear and the door panels show themselves without defects. In addition to power windows at the front, power steering and central locking, there is also a Sony Radio Control XTC-100 on board this 320i.

Shifting is via a 5-speed manual transmission that is typical of BMW and can be operated crisply. The drive technology is clean according to the low mileage and defects in the technology are obviously not to be noted. At the beginning of 2020, the brake lines were renewed. A last service took place in October 2020, in June 2020 the timing belt including water pump was renewed, and the thermostat was also new.

The underbody condition of the BMW 320i is also reflected in the low mileage: Due to the fact that this BMW ran in Spain for a long time, the underside of the E30 was spared wild-flowering rust nests.
