Anything but a mass manufacturer BMW had wanted to be in the seventies. The Bavarians feared for the character of their cars and for the desirability of the BMW models in better circles. When they came onto the market in 1982, it was the departure into new spheres for BMW: Such a 3 Series fit into all situations – luxury and performance entered into an ideal liaison. With the second generation of the threesome, prosperity could be shown without showing off. By the end of production in 1994, a total of over 2.3 million BMW E30s had found a buyer.

According to information available to us, during the last maintenance in September 2020, the timing belt, timing belt tensioner, thermostat and water pump with all associated seals were replaced.
