Model history

• The Porsche 993, produced from 1994 to 1998, marks an important milestone in the history of the sports car manufacturer. It was the last model in the 911 range with an air-cooled boxer engine and is considered one of the best 911s of all time. The 993 was equipped with all-wheel drive, which combined the agility and driving pleasure of the 911 Carrera with the superiority of an all-wheel drive concept. In the form of the 993 Turbo or Turbo S, only a little over 5,000 examples were produced from 1995 to 1998.
