Model history

The first 3 Series E21 was produced from 1975 to 1983 and was the first BMW to be built in excess of 1 million units (1,364,039). This last generation BMW 318i replaced the 318 with carburetor engine with the Bosch injection system. Instead of 98 hp, it already produced 105 hp with significantly lower fuel consumption. To this day, the E21 is one of the absolute classics and a trend-setting model of the BMW 3 Series.
