From 1989 Alfa Romeo offered its model "Spider" of the now 4th generation: As it would later turn out, it was the last version of the classic Spider. After 27 years of construction, Alfa Romeo finally discontinued the Spider with classic rear-wheel drive after 4 generations and a total of over 100,000 copies produced.
