Model history
The model name "Corniche II" was initially used exclusively for the US market from 1985, while other markets did not adopt this name until 1988. With the 1988 model year, the Corniche II underwent a number of technical and visual revisions: Among other things, an anti-lock braking system (ABS) was introduced as standard. The interior was also redesigned, with new seats and a modernized instrument panel. The design of the rear license plate holder was also modified, including a new reverse warning light. Driver and passenger airbags, however, were reserved for the successor model, the Corniche III. A total of 1,234 units were produced.

LG Tom
