Model history

The Porsche 911 has a firm place in the list of the most popular classic cars and is one of the favorites worldwide. The first models from 1964 onwards, such as the F-series, are particularly sought-after and exude a unique charm. The F-series was first presented at the IAA in Frankfurt in 1963 and was produced from 1964 onwards. Although the design appears more modern, it is clearly recognizable that it is based on the Porsche 356. This similarity gives the 911 a timeless character.
From a technological point of view, the introduction of the 911 marked a significant step for Porsche. Within four years of the presentation of the new model, the Porsche 911 T was added to the range as a fresh entry-level model in 1967.

Was wurde da gemacht?
