• In 1965, the Audi NSU Prinz 4 L was introduced to the engine world as a two-door small car. In the history of Audi, this is considered an improved version of the NSU Prinz 4. It produced 30 hp with a 598 cc two-cylinder rear engine combined with a 4-speed manual transmission. To this day, the NSU Prinz enjoys its reputation as a classic and enjoys a large fan base. By 1973, almost 490,000 units had been produced.
