Model history:

With the Fulvia Coupé from 1965, Lancia continued its great tradition of deriving at least one sporty two-door model from every sedan. The in-house styling department developed the striking lines with large windows and graceful, steep roof pillars. The technical design was also individual: a VR4 cylinder tilted 45 degrees to the side drove the front wheels. The range of engines ranged from the small 1.3-liter to the 1.6-liter, even special versions for rallying were produced. In the years from 1965 to 1976, just under 140,000 copies of the Fulvia coupe were produced.

In this auction, a Lancia Fulvia Coupé 1.3S from 1976 will now be auctioned, which was first registered in Italy with the chassis number 818630077125 and came from Monza to Germany in 2020. According to the seller, a total of 6 owners are known to the Fulvia, TÜV has the Italian coupe until May 2023 and an H approval is already given. The so-called matching numbers are assumed, a checkbook is no longer available, but after consultation with the seller, the total mileage of the vehicle can be approximately traced. Also worth mentioning is a Classic Data report, which certifies the condition grade 2+ of the Fulvia.

Exterior colour/varnish/body:

In the years 2020 and 2021, the Lancia was revised according to statements of the seller in addition to a technical revision and optically: In the course of the partial restoration of the coupe, the paint of the Fulvia in the areas of the wheel arches in white was partially new. Various other smaller places also got a new lacquer dress - but the seller can rule out an accident in the current possession. All attachments to the vehicle are preserved in complete condition and, apart from a small stone chip in the windscreen, the vehicle has no inconsistencies on the exterior, according to the seller, that could affect the all-round good state of preservation of the car.

Exterior rims/brakes/chassis:

Both 70-90% of their new condition have the tires (less than 1,000 kilometers driven) as well as the brakes according to the estimation of the current owner. Aluminium rims in the size of 6x14 serve as rims. Deviations from the original condition in the area of the chassis cannot be mentioned.

Interior:

The leather interior in the colour "Cognac" also underwent a revision in 2020/21. In addition to a 3-spoke wooden steering wheel from Nardi, which has been retrofitted, a socket has also been installed in the glove compartment of the Fulvia. Gross damage or even missing parts are apparently not to be criticized in the interior of this Lancia - the seller mentions that the well-kept interior is in just as good a condition as the exterior. Mileage:

38,929 kilometers can be read on the 5-digit odometer. The seller states that the original libretto is available and that the total mileage can be approximately documented. All instruments, displays and controls work perfectly.

Engine

The 1.3-liter, 88 hp VR4 engine was revised together with the carburetors - invoices for the carburetor overhaul worth € 2,000 are available. In 2021, a refurbishment of the cooler took place. The power of the 4 cylinders is transmitted to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission. Only recently (in January 2023) a final service took place.

Subsoil:

As rustproof and unwelded, the seller of this Lancia describes the condition of the apparently extremely well and cleanly preserved underbody. Even then, a Lancia Fulvia Coupé came up with front-wheel drive and 5-speed transmission, which was by no means a matter of course for the time, offered respectable driving performance and provided then as now for a typical Italian charm.
