Model history

The Porsche 997 marked a stylistic change of direction in 2004: the much-criticized "fried egg" headlights of its predecessor, the 996, were replaced by classic round lights – a deliberate return to the design of iconic predecessors such as the 993. The body was subtly refined, with the wider rear fenders of the all-wheel-drive models in particular giving it a sportier look. Technically, the 997 remained largely faithful to its predecessor, but impressed with refined driving dynamics, a higher-quality feel, and a stronger distinction from the more affordable Boxster.

For sale is a 2006 Porsche 911 997 Carrera S in Carrera white with black leather interior. This 997 has the rare Aerokit Cup installed ex-factory. The vehicle is second-hand, was originally delivered in Japan, and has a complete maintenance history. Particularly noteworthy is the extensive engine overhaul at 9Eleven Performance, which, among other things, permanently fixed the well-known piston rocker problem. With a fresh service from 10/2025, a TÜV until October 2027, and a very good visual condition, this vehicle offers an excellent opportunity for enthusiasts of well-maintained, optimized 911s with a documented history.

LG Tom
