Model history
Since the introduction of the Golf 1, Volkswagen was faced with the challenge of once again standing out from the crowd with the next generation. The challenge was taken up by Herbert Schäfer, VW's chief designer at the time, who was keen to reinterpret the original lines of Giorgetto Giugiaro. He lengthened the Golf 2 and gave it a more striking appearance that reflected the powerful and broad style of the 1980s. The distinctive "Big Bumpers" added later completed the iconic design of the Golf 2.

Hallo, nach den in den Fotos dargestellten Fahrzeugbrief und der ZLB 2 erkenne ich 7 Besitzereintragungen, nicht 5. Ist das richtig?
