Model history
The Mercedes-Benz S-Class of the W126 series was produced from 1979 to 1991 and is considered one of the most successful luxury sedans of its time. It replaced the W116 series and set new standards in safety, comfort, and durability. For the first time, a distinction was made between the standard (W126) and long-wheelbase (V126) versions, as well as the coupé (C126). With over 890,000 vehicles built, the W126 was the best-selling S-Class ever and still stands for timeless design and German engineering.

Comments of this past auction
LG Tom
