pletely over hauled and sub tly mod i fied with alu minum intake man i fold and 4-bar rel car bu re tor 650 cfm demon by Edel brock. - In the course of the engine over
haul, the addi tion of lead addi tive is no longer nec es sary. - Mileage since the revi

part ment was com pletely redone, de-oiled, sanded, derusted, primed and then painted, all of which can be ver i fied with pic tures. - The hood was com

Technik: Die 88er-Serie von 1969 ließ den Namen Delmont fallen und behielt den Delta 88 als Basismodell der Serie. Die Delta 88 Royale- Ausstattung, die nur für das Holiday Coupé erhältlich war, wurde als Spitzenmodell über dem Delta 88 Custom hinzugefügt. Sie hatte serienmäßig ein luxuriöseres Interieur mit einer Sitzbank mit Vinylbezug und Stufenheck und Armlehne oder Strato-Schalensitzen mit optionaler Mittelkonsole. Aus Sicherheitsgründen wurde an den Vordersitzen sowohl für den Fahrer als auch für den rechten Beifahrer ein an der Decke montierter Schultergurt angeboten. Diese Anordnung bot fünf Gurtschlösser in der Vordersitzbank. Der Standardmotor im Basismodell des Delta 88 war ein 350 cu in großer, niedrig verdichteter Rocket V8 (9,0:1) mit einem Rochester-Zweikammervergaser, der 250 PS (186 kW) bei 4.600 U/min und 355 lb⋅ft (481 Nm) Drehmoment leistete und mit verbleitem Normalbenzin (94 ROZ) betrieben wurde. Standardmäßig bei den Modellen Delta 88 Custom und Royale und optional für die Basisserie war eine niedrig verdichtende Zweizylinder-Version des 455 Kubikzoll Rocket V8 mit 310 PS (231 kW), die für Normalbenzin ausgelegt war. Optional war für alle Delta 88 der ultrahoch verdichtende 455 Kubikzoll Super Rocket V8 mit 365 PS (272 kW) und vier Zylindern erhältlich. Top-Option war die 390 PS (291 kW) starke Version des 455 V8 mit vier Zylindern, die mit 98 ROZ-Kraftstoff betrieben werden konnte und als W-33-Option für alle Delta 88-Modelle erhältlich war. LG Tom
