Technik: Zum Modelljahr 2015 wurde ein Allradantrieb optional verfügbar bei Coupé und Cabrio für die 278 kW-Version des 3,0 Liter V6-Motors und für den 403 kW 5,0-Liter-V8-Ottomotor. Zum Allradantrieb wurde noch eine intelligente Steuerung namens IDD entwickelt und das bislang vom V8-Modell bekannte Torque Vectoring auch in die Sechszylinder eingebaut. So fährt der F-Type unter normalen Umständen weiter heckgetrieben und leitet bei elektronisch erkanntem Traktionsverlust Kraft auf die Vorderräder. Durch den Allradantrieb steigt das Gewicht um 80 kg, der Verbrauch steigt beim V6 um 0,3 und beim V8 um 0,6 Liter. Während der V8 mit der besseren Traktion sogar eine Zehntelsekunde weniger bis Tempo 100 braucht, fällt der V6 AWD gegenüber dem Normalmodell um 0,2 Sekunden zurück. Ebenfalls wurde mit dem Modelljahr 2015 bei den V6-Versionen das sechsstufige Schaltgetriebe als Basisausstattung eingeführt.
