Model history
The Cadillac Sixty Special was introduced in the late 1930s and was long considered a symbol of American luxury sedans. With its extended body, ample space, and elaborate features, it ranked just below the large Series 70 models. In the 1970s, particularly exclusive variants such as the Brougham d'Elegance and the Talisman appeared. After a brief hiatus, the traditional name returned at the end of the 1980s and remained in the range until the early 1990s. To this day, the Sixty Special stands for elegance and exclusivity within Cadillac's history.

Comments of this past auction
In vier Jahren entstanden vom Ur-Sixty Special in Summe 17.918 Stück. LG Tom
