After the models XK 120 and XK 140, Jaguar offered the so-called XK 150 from 1957: This model again represented an optical and technical development compared to its previous models. Until 1961, the XK 150 was built, one had the choice between the DHC (Fixed Head Coupé) and the DHC (Drop Head Coupé), from 1958 there was also the two-seater Roadster OTS (Open Two Seater). The great success of the XK series led to the fact that many cars were exported – most of them started their journey to the USA, because the Americans were almost enthusiastic about the Jaguar. The XK 150 was finally replaced by the Jaguar E-Type at the beginning of 1961.

The seller informs us that the Jaguar is in a completely restored condition and has a total of 3 holders – with the last holder owning the XK in Denmark for a very long time. The XK 150 is equipped with a historical approval, comes with a pair of keys and has a Danish TÜV until August 2024. Matching numbers are given, due to various invoices and former inspection reports, the history of this XK 150 can be traced according to the owner.

In the course of the restoration work, the steel body has been repainted in red over the years. The state of preservation of the body is above average for the age of the XK 150, the owner refers to the accident-free condition in the current possession and states that no damage to the vehicle exterior is known. Due to the fact that this modification-free Jaguar XK 150 is a drop head coupé, it also has a folding roof: this has no damage. All chrome and other decorative elements can be attested to a very good condition, modifications deviating from the original condition are not to be mentioned.

The black leather seats impress with their crack-free texture and the instrument panel convinces with a problem-free function of the displays. The crank windows do their job without any problems and the steering wheel and the handbrake lever are also in clean condition. The black soft top can be easily unlocked, opened, closed and also locked again.

The five-digit mileage speedometer shows a total mileage of 34,300 miles. The function of all instruments is given, various service invoices and work records over the years are available.

This Jaguar is shifted via an automatic 3-speed Borg-Warner transmission. This Jaguar XK 150 is powered by an original 3.4 liter in-line six-cylinder double camshaft engine with 210 hp.
