Technik: Direkt hinter dem vorderen mittigen Einlass standen der Wasserkühler (bei AT-Modellen der kombinierte Wasser-/Getriebeölkühler), sowie die Kühler der Klimaanlage und Servolenkung. Die beiden seitlichen Einlässe leiteten Luft an die Bremsen. Der rechte Einlass (vom Fahrersitz aus gesehen) diente zusätzlich zur Anströmung des Ladeluftkühlers, der linke für den Getriebeölkühler (nur EU-Modelle). Die Hutze auf der Motorhaube senkte die Temperatur auf dem Abgaskrümmer. Hinter den Türen gab es weitere Öffnungen zur Kühlung der hinteren Bremsen. Im rechten hinteren Kanal befand sich zusätzlich ein Kühler für das Differential. Die Hutze auf der Motorhaube sowie Getriebe- und Differentialölkühler waren nur für Europa-Spezifikationen verfügbar. Im Vergleich zu Ländern mit Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzung sollte den Aggregaten aufgrund möglicher Dauerbelastung mit höherer Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit (besonders in Deutschland) mehr Kühlung zugeführt werden können.
