Vehicle description

Model history:

The takeover of Aston Martin by Ford at the end of the 1980s also meant access to larger sums of money for development - which meant that Aston Martin was able to bring out a worthy successor to the famous DB6 model after all. In addition to an inline six-cylinder engine, a V12 unit was used in various power levels in the DB7. The Vantage as well as GTA versions of the Aston Martin DB7 had 426 horsepower and almost 550 Newton meters of torque.

The

production period of the DB7 extended from 1994 to 2004, altogether over 7,000 copies were manufactured, whereby of the GT and GTA versions only some hundred pieces ran from the volume line.

General to the vehicle:

Here now an Aston Martin DB7 GTA from

the

year of manufacture 2003 can be auctioned, which was registered with the FIN SCFAB223X3K304383 in Germany for the first time. The sports car was first delivered to the wife of a bank executive in Germany, and in 2004 the husband transferred the car to himself. In 2012, an Aston Martin enthusiast took over the DB7 GTA and continued to have all inspections done at Aston Martin. Since November 2014, the current seller has the sports car in his care, which annually performed services themselves, as he is an Aston Martin mechanic. The so-called Matching Numbers are completely preserved, a partially kept checkbook for the traceability of the history is available and the TÜV shows a validity until March 2025.

Exterior color/paint/body:

"Bowland Black" is the name of the deep black paint color of this Aston Martin DB7 GTA: After consultation with the seller, no repainting has taken place since the first registration of the sports car in 2003, which means that this DB7 still has its original paint. All add-on parts on the vehicle are found in complete and well preserved condition and inconsistencies on the body or modifications to the exterior deviating from the original condition are not visible. Altogether the salesman lets us communicate that the external condition of the Aston Martin can be seen extremely well.

Exterior Rims/Brakes/Chassis:

On silver 19 inch large 9-spoke rims in special execution present themselves tires of the mark Yokohama reared, which are estimated by the salesman in the condition on 30-50%. In the area of the brake system the current owner of the vehicle certifies this a condition of 50-70%. The chassis of the Aston Martin DB7 consists of double wishbones with anti-dive system, coil springs, dampers and rear anti-roll bars.

Interior:

seats, door panels, dashboard and the footwell carpet are in gray color, various carbon fiber elements blend well into the interior

.

Just like the exterior, the interior is in an apparently well-kept condition without any gross inconsistencies. In addition to the leather sports seats, the following options are also on board this DB7 GTA: Traction Control, Alcantara headliner, Teves ABS, ASR, outside temperature display, leather steering wheel with carbon insert, leather selector lever, power seats, color glass, fog lights, folding mirrors, Becker radio with navigation, Bluetooth and hands-free phone system, and CD changer. All interior features are said to be fully functional.

Mileage:

Red hands run on white dials in the Aston Martin DB7 GTA's instrument cluster

.

Due to a partially kept checkbook, the mileage of approximately 34,500 read on the digital speedometer can be tracked according to the seller's statements. All displays in the instrument cluster do their job without a hitch.

Engine:

The V12 engine generates a whopping 416 hp from its 5.9-liter displacement, which is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 5-speed Switchtronic system. The gears can also be shifted manually via buttons on the steering wheel. A last service took place in March 2023, moreover, the seller mentions that he performed annual oil + filter changes, as well as all other filters and brake fluid came new. Before handover to the future owner, the DB7 will also receive a new inspection.

Underbody:

Rust-free, unwelded and cavity preserved, the current owner describes the underbody condition of the DB7 GTA. According to the seller, this Aston Martin offered here has always stood in a heated garage, has been driven very little, and is distinguished by its extremely good state of care in addition to its low mileage. In addition, the seller mentions that this GTA may only give way due to collection downsizing, as it must make room.
