Model history

In 1983, Jaguar introduced the XJ-SC, the convertible version of the XJ-S. One of its outstanding features was the electrically operated Targa roof, which allowed occupants to enjoy the open-top driving experience of a convertible while retaining the structure and appearance of a coupé. This model was part of a line of luxury Grand Tourers that were renowned for their comfort, performance and elegant aesthetics. Only around 5000 of these were produced until 1988.
