Triumph TR 4 IRS (1965)

Model history

As the successor to the TR3A, the British carmaker Triumph introduced the TR4 model in 1961. Technically, the two models were largely the same. The TR4 was powered by a 2.2-liter engine with 100 hp, coupled with a 4-speed manual transmission. The bodywork was designed by Giovanni Michelotti, who adapted a wider track and a new rack-and-pinion steering. Another innovation was the now installed crank windows and the adjustable vents in the dashboard. In the entire production period from 1961 to 1965, almost 69,000 vehicles were produced.

According to information available to us, the TR4 TÜV has an H license plate and a German registration until July 2025. At the moment, the owner also confirms that the car is registered and in running condition. Whether matching numbers are given cannot be answered. However, the car can be certified accident-free in its current ownership.
