Equally valued as a road and racing car, the 911 celebrated great success in motorsport - especially in the form of the 911 derivative 935. In 1989, the classic was replaced by the technically revised but visually similar Porsche 964.

Moin - Pascal

Thanks for the upload of some further/needed Bills of some maintenance - unfortunately no fotos; by looking up the Bills from 2009 & 2013 - searching part-No. - You can see that there was some gearbox-revision already done in 2013 (synchro-rings renewed) - apparently all this work done in the Netherlands - sadly with no information about whether the engine maintenance in 2013 was done before or after the engine swap /as the engine change is still not documented; however - after some investigation I found out, that the engine revision from 2013 was already done with parts for the 1984-88 engine model - so i assume the engine change was done before 2013 - would be nice to get some further info, when the engine swap was done& whats the total mileage of the donor engine and how many km did the current engine run & when was it / by whom ?/ built in - for now - i rise my bid to 32000 € - which is my final Bid/ absolute limit for the car - as there's just to few reliable information on the previous history available plus no original Fuchs rimes, no original seats & interieur anymore - Targo roof warped etc. - overall: the car needs a good new home with lots of TLC ;-) i also do think (out of experience) that with 350 Tsd. km the scratching gearbox needs some refurbishing - but i especially i would have liked to see some proper documentation/ fotos, Bills / proof o mileage the new 3.2 ltr. engine swap - Kind Regards. G.

Hello dididenning, the engine work was done after the engine swap. The total mileage of the current engine is about 70.000km. The invoice of the engine refurbishing in 2013 shows a mileage of 320.000km on the car, and today it is at about 350.000km, meaning the current engine has a mileage of about 30.000km since it has been refurbished. Best regards - Kickdown Team

Thanks for clarification on the engine maintenance in 2013 - however i doubt that the total mileage of the 3.2 ltr. engine (after around 40 years) is only 70 k - unless i see & get written proof otherwise - as there would be no need to renew the valve seals (as done in Holland 2013 / some 30 tsd. km ago) which would have been after only 40 tsd. km - that is totally unrealistic! So - my final bid stays unchanged with 32 Grand, as there's just to much uncertainty about the history of that car; But kindly don't get me wrong: I really like the look & make of the car & i'm more that happy to pay 32 Grand for it - plus investing then another 8-10 K on refurbishing Gearbox, Targa-Roof, Suspension & Brakes, fix the electric gremlins (Window) to a decent standard / then i would have the car i want for around 40-42 Grand (plus Commission) - So - I Hope the seller will re-consider its reserve price to a "realistic No." - due to high mileage & widely unknown history of the car - Kind Regards for Denning/Munich G.

It would be nice if quetions - regarding proof of restauration/ invoices with detailed work carried out / would be uploaded before the auction closes - as all this nice outside & interior pics are great - but do not show any details of the engine swap, gearbox bodywork restauration; Without havin any proof/ bill (no oil change bills !) of the major work specified on engine, supension, brakes etc. as the car has around 350 tsd. km / 47 years on the road - higher bidding would be just a gamble/ right now: there's clearly a lack of "transparence" - only putside pics or video - but no detailed bills/ pics form restauration, engine swap, gearbox & brake overhaul etc. - pls. upload the needed proof of work as i'm really interested in the car - thank You !

As my previous question hasn't been answered yet - i understand the engine underwent some restauration - how about the (scratching) gearbox ? On the Pics looks like the old 915 box - but with 350 Tsd. km - there must be for sure some overhaul for that almost 50 years old gearbox? any receipts for that ? also: which clutch/plate -as to take the higher torque and power of the stronger engine - is installed ? is there an upgraded (hydraulically) clutch built in - like it was standard on later 3.2 engines ? Thanks for answers - but the needed gearbox overhaul (stipulated by "scratchin gear change/due to wear of all those years) could easily exceed another 5000 € /as engine has to be completely taken out ... Kind Rgds. G.

Hello I'm interesting in buying that nice Targa with the late G-model 3,2 Carrera engine swap - despit its high mileage - unfortuneatly there are no picture or description of the floorpan/ underneath body work; before raising my bid i need to know is there any rust underneath? can You upload pics of the undernath flloor & exhaust system ? - also does the car have valid TÜV inspection (as it is not regeistered/zugelassen - why ?) - as the gearbox has apparently problems with the 2nd gear (scratching) requiring overhaul i'd like to know what kind of gearbox ist in the car = the original (old) 915 or the more modern G50 gearbox & stronger clutch/ which suits the stronger 231 PS/ 3,2 ltr. engine - kindly ask per mail/ phone only via WhatsApp (in Dubai right now) Kind Regards Gert G.

Hello dididenning, according to the seller, the underneath body of the car is rust free. Is does have a valid TÜV inspection until June 2026. As you can see in picture 62, the car is equipped with a 915 gearbox. Best regards - Kickdown team

LG Tom
