Model history
The Land Rover Series III was built from 1971 onwards and marks the last stage of development of the classic Land Rover series before the Defender was introduced. Based on a robust ladder frame with aluminum body and leaf spring suspension, it was considered an uncompromising work vehicle. Particularly characteristic features include the standard four-wheel drive, the plastic dashboard, and the front headlights integrated into the fenders. The six-cylinder engine with a displacement of 2.6 liters was the more powerful option and was particularly popular in the long wheelbase (109") models. Today, the Land Rover Series III represents British off-road technology in its most original form – robust, functional, and with iconic charm.

Summary:
For sale is a 1975 Land Rover Series 3 with a rare 6-cylinder engine and tropical roof in beige/green. The vehicle has been built up over many years with great care and expertise, with numerous new parts installed and a camper conversion carried out in the interior. The Landy has been technically overhauled – with a renewed brake system, reworked engine, and ignition. The off-road vehicle is currently registered, with TÜV until February 2027 and an H license plate. Minor optimizations such as a wheel alignment are recommended after the last period of inactivity. An honest classic with rarity value and a solid history for enthusiasts and connoisseurs.
