Kickdown's Take
by Moritz HelbichThe C2 is perhaps the most beautiful Corvette and has shown interesting value development in recent years. The Corvette offered here in classic red has been restored, with the highlight being the new 5.7-liter V8 with 364 hp. This extremely well-maintained collector's item has a new TÜV certificate and has undergone extensive investment by its current owner. Model history
The second generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, known internally as the "C2," was built from 1963 to 1967 and marked a turning point in the history of American sports cars. The striking "Sting Ray" design, inspired by the Corvette SS racing version, combined elegant lines with a powerful presence. In addition to the revised chassis design, the C2 was equipped with independent rear suspension for the first time, which led to significantly improved handling characteristics. The 1965 model year was also the first in which four disc brakes were fitted as standard – a major advance in performance and safety.

Questions and Comments
