Model history
The BMW E23 marked the start of the 7 Series in 1977, replacing the E3 series. As the first BMW luxury sedan under the "7 Series" designation, it set new standards in comfort, safety, and technology. Powered by smooth-running inline six-cylinder engines, optionally available with modern features such as ABS or an on-board computer, the top-of-the-range 745i with turbocharger in particular underlined the brand's claim to the luxury segment. Produced until 1986, the E23 laid the foundation for the 7 Series, which is still successful today, and is now considered a classic representative of BMW's luxury class.

Questions and Comments
LG Tom
