Model history

The Jaguar XK150 was produced between 1957 and 1961 as the successor to the XK140 and marked the end of the famous XK model series. Initially, the vehicle was only available as a coupe with a fixed roof (FHC) and as a convertible with a retractable top (DHC). It was not until 1958 that Jaguar added a roadster version to the series, the XK150 OTS (Open Two Seater). This variant stood out from the more comfortable coupes with its purist features and classic lightweight folding top. However, a new feature was the addition of crank windows and higher doors, which made it easier to get in and improved comfort. In the coupé versions, small emergency seats were optionally installed in the rear. The XK150 combined British elegance with sporty performance and remains a sought-after collector's item to this day.
