Model history

The Porsche 997, launched in 2004, marked the fifth generation of the Porsche 911 and followed on from the 996. With a revised design and improved driving characteristics, it built on the success of its predecessor. Power output ranged from 325 to 415 hp, with the top model, the 997 GT2, even reaching up to 530 hp.
