Model history
- The 968 turbo S, produced in a small series, was offered to customers from April 1993. The vehicle, built exclusively by hand in the racing department in Weissach, was the road version of the 968 turbo RS developed for the ADAC GT racing series and was marketed directly by the customer sports department. The basis was a 968 CS, always without targa roof. The engine body (crankcase, including crankshaft) remained the same, but was then adapted to an 8V cylinder head and supercharger and intercooler from the 944 Turbo. The bodywork at the front was modified and a second oil cooler was installed behind the bumper. The bumper itself was modified to bring more air into the intercooler, a spoiler kit consisting of a front spoiler, adjustable rear wing and Naca in the hood rounded off the transformation in Weissach alongside the 18-inch Speedline. The result was 305 hp and around 350 hp for the 968 turbo RS.

Viel Spass beim bieten M. Gareis
