Porsche broke new ground with the 996. The change from hanging to standing pedals also showed what time had come. But thanks to new technology in body shell construction, rigidity was increased while the unladen weight was reduced at the same time. The Porsche 4S, painted in lapic blue, is as wide as the 996 Turbo: a repaint has not yet taken place, which is why the 911 has the first coat and also an accident-free body.
