A 380 SE with first registration on 03.09.1984 in Germany is up for auction. The just 2 holders liked to move the S-Class, it has a proud 269,670 km on the clock. The S-Class spent a large part of its time with its previous owner in Switzerland. The S-Class has two keys, Matching Numbers, is approved with H license plate, has TÜV until 06.2024 and is also accident-free, according to the seller. Enclosed are a maintenance booklet and operating instructions in the original and a lot of invoices about the history.

From the outside, the star shines in astral silver (MET:735), and this paint looks really good, defects or quirks are not detected, as the seller also states. According to him, nothing has been changed or repainted. Someone took very good care of his car.

The wheel-tire combination consists of a rim from the former manufacturer WSL (these can be found on many W126 models) and a Tire from Nokian in the size 205/65 R15. Nothing has been modified on the chassis and the brakes are in very good condition, according to the seller.

Inside the S-Class we find a combination of blue leather and fabric, decorated with dark wood on the doors, dashboard and center console. The external condition continues in the interior, which has been very well maintained and shows hardly any signs of use. Typical of the S-Class is the lavish equipment with power steering, central locking, electric windows, a sunroof and even cruise control is on board.

The mileage of 269,670 km can be proven with various calculations. In addition to the odometer, the other instruments also work perfectly, the seller tells us.

Under the hood works a 3,793 cc V8 with 150kW or 204 hp. It transports its power to the rear axle via an automatic transmission. The last service was at 207,000 km, there have been no major repairs according to the seller and are not pending.

The underbody, like the engine and transmission, is, according to the seller, in very good condition. As mentioned at the beginning, the original maintenance booklet and the operating instructions, as well as various invoices are enclosed with the vehicle. In conclusion, we can say that this 380 SE does the upper class all the credit. After 38 years, it still looks better than some new cars after two years. Finding such a specimen a second time will certainly not be easy, so take your chance and bid on a classic car of the upper class.
