Model history:
The Fiat 500 D is considered a part of Italian car history. The model was produced from 1960 to 1975 and enjoyed great popularity before it became an absolute icon over the years. In total, more than 4 million copies were produced, which were sold throughout Europe and beyond. The 500 D was an evolution of the 500 F and featured a number of improvements. This included in particular the new engine, as well as better suspension and brakes. In addition, there were also some visual changes that differentiated the 500 D from its predecessors.
General information about the vehicle:
A part of Italian car history can now be bought in the following auction. The Fiat 500 D offered here was first registered on the roads in 1963. With more than 7 owners, the vehicle has an eventful history behind it. The car was imported from Italy and has an H license plate. The MOT is valid until May 2023 and the car is roadworthy and registered. What is particularly impressive, however, is that the car has been completely restored and thus shines in good condition - as can be seen in the pictures.
Exterior paint/paint/body:
In the course of the restoration, the car was painted in an attractive red, which gives a modern touch to the classic style of the small city car. Especially the chrome-decorated elements skilfully round off the external appearance. The beige folding roof, which is in good condition, also sets a charming accent and underlines the nostalgic character of the car.
Exterior rims/brakes/chassis:
A visually matching complement to the design are the original alloy wheels with chrome hubcaps. The mounted tires have a good tread depth and provide great traction on the roads. Regarding the brake system, the current owner describes good condition without defects, with a state of use of about 70 to 90 percent. Overall, the chassis is in a neat condition and ensures not only driving stability, but also a unique driving experience.
Interior:
In the interior, the driver is greeted by a stylish imitation leather interior in beige-brown. Combined with a classic two-spoke steering wheel and the neat dashboard, the interior becomes an absolute highlight. In general, the interior has been designed in a very minimalist way and conveys a timeless and unmistakable charm. As the series of pictures shows, the interior is in a neat condition.
Mileage:
The small car was driven over the asphalt for almost 9,4694 km without an accident. The special highlight of the Fiat 500 D is the removable folding roof, which provides an airy driving experience on hot summer days. So you can enjoy the ride to the fullest and feel the sun on your skin while the wind blows around your nose.
Engine:
The Italian classic car is powered by an 11 hp engine with a displacement of approximately 500 cm³, which is supported by a manual gearbox. The last service took place in April 2023 and no defects or damage to the engine or technology were found. The engine thus runs perfectly and ensures reliable locomotion of the vehicle.
Subsoil:
The underside of the Fiat, like the rest of the car, is in apparently very good shape. This can be described as completely rust-free. The pictures provide a further impression.
For car enthusiasts, classic car lovers and collectors, there is the opportunity to bid for a Fiat 500 D in great condition. The classic car has been expertly restored and drives flawlessly on the roads.
