For sale is a BMW R100R mystic from 1991 in the color mystic red with black leather double seat.

Highlights:

• From 1st hand and accident-free in a very well-kept condition.
• This is a hand-built (by BMW Munich) and extremely limited BMW R100R mystic. This was intended as a prototype for the series. Only 50 of these were produced in total.
• Original condition throughout, even the windshield was fitted by BMW. Invoice is available.
• It was purchased as a new vehicle in May 1994 and has been deregistered since 2000. It has stood dry since then and has been treated with great care.
• In 1994, a case, including bracket, was also fitted at the BMW factory. Invoice for DM 1,214 is available.

As this motorcycle is an absolute rarity, we will tell you the history (from the seller's point of view) of this BMW R100R mystic in the following:

"I purchased the above-mentioned BMW R100R Mystic as a new vehicle from a BMW dealer on the Lower Rhine in 1994. The motorcycle was built in 1991 and had obviously spent the entire time unnoticed in the dealer's showroom. This vehicle is a machine that was designed by BMW Munich itself and commissioned in Munich in a limited edition of 50 units.

These motorcycles were hand-built in Munich and then sold by the dealership. Due to the obvious great interest, the Mystic series was finally launched by BMW Munich. There are external differences between the production vehicle and my machine, which can be seen in the attached pictures. It was also the only time that BMW Munich itself designed and produced a prototype and then launched a series. All subsequent models were produced without a prototype.
