BMW fans were able to admire the new Z8 Roadster for the first time in 1999 in the James Bond thriller "The World Is Not Enough": The official presentation took place at the subsequent IAA, deliveries began in 2000. As an impressive classic with a discreet retro look, the Z8 roadster (internally known as the E52) continued a tradition of the BMW brand: it was a high-performance sports car for a pampered clientele. The stylistically hinted echoes of the legendary BMW 507 resulted from the proportions of the front end, the instruments and the eye-catching air intake décor that was already a topic of conversation at the 1955 IAA as an extravagance on the body sides of the 507.

Engine:

400 hp is produced by the 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine of the Z8, which is designed as a front mid-engine. A 6-speed manual gearbox transmits the power to the rear wheels of this roadster, the last service work took place in 2011 after consultation with the current owner.
