Model history
The Chevrolet Series AC International was introduced in 1929 as the successor to the Series AB National and brought a six-cylinder engine back into the model range for the first time since 1915. Under the slogan "A six-cylinder for the price of a four-cylinder", Chevrolet offered more power at only a small price premium.
With over 1.3 million units produced and ten body variants, the series was a great success. For efficient distribution, each factory specialized in a particular body style. Prices ranged from 525 US dollars for the Roadster to 725 US dollars for the Landau Convertible. The Series AC cemented Chevrolet's reputation as a leading manufacturer of affordable, high-performance vehicles.

Comments of this past auction
LG Tom
