When Porsche introduced the new 911, the Type 964, in 1989, hardcore fans were quite disappointed. Our offer is a Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Convertible of the type 993. The 96 model was first registered in June 1996 in the USA, so it is an import car. The open Swabian was cherished and cared for by four previous owners. Not much is known about those Porsche fans, only that the convertible is a real southerner. The car was driven exclusively in the Sunshine States in the south of the USA, so it knows neither bad weather, let alone road salt. The current owner has acquired the Frischluft-Stuttgarter with the VIN WP0CA2999TS341476 from a German dealer. The sports car equipped with two keys has the TÜV blessing until July 2023, but it does not carry an H license plate. But he is only missing five meager years. But the Carrera can certainly do that without further ado. But he can shine with the matching numbers, also an extensive documentation is available, which allows the mileage to be traced. An expert opinion is also available, the current owner names the vehicle as accident-free.

The Porsche rolls on original 18" rims Turbolook rims, which were then available as an option for an extra charge and have now been retrofitted by the owner In the course of the Europeanization of the vehicle, an adjustable Bilstein chassis was installed. But these are the only changes in the area of chassis, wheels, brakes. Otherwise, everything else is original, even the subfloor is described by its owner as rust-free and free of scratch and touchdown marks. The tyres are new, they are the Michelin tyres with N3 identification favoured by Porsche. Brake discs and pads were renewed and only 5,000 kilometers have been driven since then. In addition, an up-to-date adjustment of the wheel loads was made. There are no known shortcomings in these areas.

The front end (bumper, fender, hood) have already been repainted once, apparently because of stone chipping. In the original turquoise green metallic (manufacturer color code L25D). The equipment is upscale noble, as you know it from Porsche and also expect. Power steering, central door locking, electric windows, air conditioning, ABS, cruise control and an original Porsche CD radio create a cosy living room atmosphere. The whole thing is underlined by the gear knob and handbrake lever in dark burl wood look. Sound and engine sound package round off the equipment level. The four-stroke six-cylinder boxer engine, which runs 286 horses from exactly 3,600 cc agile, ensures the fiery progress. That's enough for a brilliant 275 km/h. The gears are selected by means of a six-speed manual transmission. Defects in the engine and drive are not known. The last service was carried out in 2019, since then timing belts of the double ignition distributor, ignition harnesses and candles, as well as the valve cover seals have also been renewed.
