  • There is a small, repaired paint chip on the driver’s door extending toward the triangular panel (see photo 80)
  • The paint and body are in very good condition with slight age-related signs of wear
  • The car was converted from 12-inch to 10-inch wheels. The 165 Yokohama tires are listed in the vehicle documents.
  • The tires have a tread depth of 4.0 mm at the front and rear

Summary

For sale is a 1992 Rover Mini SPI MK II. The vehicle was purchased by the current owner in August 2020 and subsequently restored piece by piece; the work is documented on the YouTube channel “FreiZeitVertreib” as well as through invoices. The body was disassembled, welded, primed, and repainted. In March 2026, the vehicle was fitted with an original 1.3 SPI replacement engine producing 53 hp. The reason for the replacement was a previously installed engine with significantly increased power that was NOT street-legal, hence the revert to the original 1.3 SPI 4-cylinder engine. In addition, the Mini features, among other things, Cobra bucket seats, an FIA roll cage, GAZ shock absorbers, 10-inch wheels, 165 Yokohama tires, a modified brake system, and an RC40 sports exhaust. A full inspection in accordance with §21 was conducted in May 2024. Please note that the clutch still needs to be adjusted. Overall, this Rover Mini SPI MK II represents a very attractive opportunity for enthusiasts. Includes extensive spare parts and accessories as shown in the pictures
