Model history:
The introduction of the Fiat 500 Topolino in 1936 was a significant milestone in the history of the Italian automotive industry. This iconic vehicle was available on the market from 1936 to 1955, during which time it became one of the most recognizable and popular small cars in the world. A total of almost 520,000 Fiat 500 Topolinos were produced. Apart from its unique design, which continued in later models, the Fiat 500 also had some technical innovations to offer. A new engine and other changes to the design of the vehicle made the Topolino a modern and progressive car of its time.
General information about the vehicle:
In the following auction you now have the opportunity to win such a Fiat 500 Topolino from 1952. The car with the vehicle identification number 500C353644 has only had two owners to date. Unfortunately, the MOT 2022 has expired and the car is not registered at the moment. However, the car is roadworthy and was driven accident-free in its current ownership. An existing H license plate certifies the Topolino its classic car status.
Exterior paint/paint/body:
The exterior of the 1952 Fiat pays homage to post-war Italian design. The car is painted in an elegant combination of a brown and black manufacturer's color, which gives the car a timeless beauty. It should be noted that the Fiat has been partially repainted, but otherwise left in its original condition. The black folding roof also makes a good impression and skilfully rounds off the design. As can be seen in the pictures, the car is in an age-appropriate condition.
Exterior rims/brakes/chassis:
The brown alloy wheels complement the visual presence of the Fiat and thus set an additional highlight that rounds off the overall appearance of the Fiat. According to the information available to us, tires are mounted that still have a good tread depth. In addition, the brake system is also in good condition, the condition of use is estimated at 50-70%. In short, rims, brakes and chassis are in very good condition appropriate for their age.
Interior:
In the interior, a beautiful brown imitation leather interior conveys a certain classic elegance. Another highlight is the combination of the classic steering wheel with the brown dashboard. The instruments on the dashboard are visually appealing in a minimalist arrangement. In addition, the interior is in a well-kept condition.
Mileage:
62251 km, the Fiat 500 Topolino was read on the five-digit speedometer on the roads. Since there is no checkbook, this value cannot be traced. Furthermore, the seller certifies that the instruments and displays are fully functional.
Engine:
A historic four-cylinder engine with 16 hp powers the Fiat. This 16 hp engine was one of the most innovative in the 1930s. Through a manual transmission, the power is transmitted to the road. According to the information available to us, the last service was in March of this year. It should be noted that the technology and engine are running flawlessly.
Subsoil:
Like the rest, the underside of the car is in good condition. This is described as stainless. Preservation of the subfloor is intended to ensure this condition in the future. In addition, the owner states that in the course of a restoration, the car was expertly brought to a "top condition".
Car lovers, collectors and enthusiasts of classic cars have the chance to buy a superbly preserved Fiat 500 Topolino. The car is optically - as the series of pictures shows - in good condition. But the Fiat also knows how to convince in terms of technology and engine. With no known defects, the Fiat's engine makes for very special exits.
