Model history
The Chevrolet El Camino combines the comfort of a coupe with the functionality of a pickup truck. It was first introduced in 1959 and redesigned in 1964 based on the Chevelle. From 1978 to 1987, it used the compact G-body platform. As a versatile commercial vehicle with passenger car characteristics, it quickly became a cult model – especially in the US car scene. The sister models from GMC were marketed under the names Sprint and later Caballero.

LG Tom
