Introduction

Based on the 924 Carrera GT, the Porsche 944 appeared at the end of 1981, which was produced for a decade until 1991 at the Audi plant in Neckarsulm and finally at Porsche itself in Zuffenhausen. After a very successful sales launch with more than 30,000 orders in the first year of production, Porsche was able to sell a total of 163,302 models. The 944 became one of the most successful models in Porsche's history and impressed with reliable engines, excellent workmanship and innovations such as a fully galvanized body.

On offer is a Porsche 944 Targa with the chassis number WP0ZZZ94ZGN404098 and a first registration from 1986. To date, a total of three owners have been able to call this Targa their own. The Porsche is registered, fully roadworthy and, in addition to the coveted H-approval, also has TÜV until April 2024. A checkbook is not available, but it is particularly worth mentioning that the 944 was purchased by the seller ten years ago and about 10,000 euros have been invested over the years. According to the seller, the Porsche is accident-free in the current ownership.

• Exterior and interior: The bodywork of this 944 Targa has been completely repainted in a bold red. According to the seller, repainting has not been carried out. The five-spoke rims in silver, the black rear spoiler and the rear diffuser with oval exhaust tailpipe further underline the sporty character of our Porsche 944 Targa. • Engine and transmission: The Targa is powered by a 150hp 4-cylinder in-line engine with a displacement of 2,479cc and a manual gearbox. According to available information, the last service was carried out on 29.12.2022.
• Mileage: The mileage read is 161,302 kilometers and, according to the owner, is also traceable.
• Documentation: So far, we have the registration certificate Part II (letter) and the current TÜV report from April 2022 for documentation.

Highlight

A special feature of this Porsche 944 is, of course, the sunroof, the so-called Targa roof, which makes this model something very special. Furthermore, the Porsche has power steering, central locking, power windows, cruise control and a radio. This model received the coveted H approval in 2018.

Condition

According to the seller, the 944 has been technically and visually overhauled. The brakes, as well as the mounted tires of the manufacturer Continenal were renewed.
