Hard to tell from pictures, can you clarify the suspension situation? Have any of those components been replaced, have the bushings been replaced? What was general scope of the project that in include the engine overhaul and paint? Any information on last date of service on transmission etc?
Having a hard time understanding the bidding/sale history. Please help. Current ad states owned by current owner since 2022, but on classic.com a history report of kickdown.com shows this was listed and sold multiple times over last June 20 2026 for $90k, $100k, $105k, but then a high bid of $158k, then relisted Aug 26 2026 and price asked $100k, but sold at $90k, on Aug 28 2026. This history is very confusing. Can you help clarify what actually happened?

It’s located in GER-63538 Großkrotzenburg and was listed a second time because it was not sold in the first auction. Now, with a lower reserve price the auction runs again. Thank you for clarification. So to be certain that I understand, the current owner has only listed one time in 2026 to sell and it was on kickdown and it did not bid above reserve price, so now this is second offering in 2026 to sell?

Primarily due to the pricing, and secondly because of the somewhat unclear history; in my opinion, the vehicle doesn't really feel right, either.

Hallo, da der Klimakompressor nicht im Motorraum erkennbar ist, wurde hier eine elektrische Klimaanlage verbaut, die aber auch nicht sichtbar ist? Sind die angebauten Teile alle eingetragen, insbesondere die Auspuffanlage, die ja mehr nach Eigenbau aussieht, da keine Eintragungen im Schein vorhanden sind, oder gibt es dazu für die Komponenten entsprechende Gutachten? Antworten wären hilfreich...
Frag doch mal bei Thomas Probst direkt nach der hat ja zumindest den Motor gemacht wenn man den rechnungen glauben schenken mag, das Fahrzeug ist ja nicht das erste mal hier inseriert, wurde ja auch schon bei Mobile angeboten
Hallo, laut Rechnungen wurde im Okt. 2014, bei Km 231.608, der Motor ausgebaut, zerlegt und div. Teile erneuert. Dann steht das Auto über zwei Jahre rum und im Dez. 2017, bei gleichen Km 231.608, wurde der Motor erneut ausgebaut, zerlegt und die Zylinder, Kolben und Pleuellager erneuert. Seit 2017 wurden nur ca. 1.000 km gefahren, da der Tacho 232.659 km anzeigt. Das sollte schon sinnvoll erklärt werden. Bei dieser Preiseinschätzung muss so ein Auto in top Zustand sein. Kann an den Fotos liegen, aber die Spaltmaße sehen nicht sonderlich gut aus und die Blinker vorne wie hinten sehen schief aus und die Stoßstangen passen nicht genau. Also Freunde, das ist ja ein netter Umbau eines 964 auf einen Ur-911er, aber mehr auch nicht.
Genau alles etwas undurchsichtig und schön ist auch anders für das Geld gibt es deutlich stimmigere Umbauten. Unbequeme / Kritische Kommentare werden gelöscht wie man sieht.
Welches Unternehmen hat die Motorrevision bei 231.000km durchgeführt?
ergänzung: es ist sichtbar, dass bei Probst Motorsport der gefragte Km-Stand angegeben wird, aber das Leistungsdatum ist aus 2014 und 2017. Ist das Fahrzeug somit nur 2000km in den letzten 12 Jahren gefahren?
Technik: Der 964 enthält daher viele technische Lösungen, die es beim Porsche 911 nicht gab: erstmals wurde bei Porsche ein Großserienfahrzeug mit Allradantrieb angeboten. Das neue Konzept war eine vereinfachte Version der 959-Antriebstechnik. Weiterhin verwarf Porsche die seit 40 Jahren verwendete Drehstabfederung der Typen 356 und 911: Der 964 bekam ein völlig neues Leichtmetall-Fahrwerk mit MacPherson-Federbeinen vorn und Schraubenfedern an den Schräglenkern hinten. Servolenkung und Antiblockiersystem waren serienmäßig; der neue 3,6-Liter-Motor bekam eine Doppelzündung mit Klopfregelung und einen geregelten Drei-Wege-Katalysator.
Wer hat das Fahrzeug umgebaut? Und mit welchen Teilen? Neue, gebrauchte Porsche Teile etc. Gibt es für den Umbau eine rechnungsnachweis! Wurden die fahrumbauten bzw Veränderungen, Länge, Breite, Höhe eingetragen?
