Model history
The BMW 850i was introduced in 1990 as the first model in the new E31 8 Series and was available with a 5.0-litre V12 engine (M70) with 300 hp. A 4-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmission was available. In fall 1993, the 850i was renamed the 850Ci. From October 1994, these vehicles were fitted with the revised 5.4-litre V12 engine (M73) with 326 hp, which was also used in the BMW 750i. Models with the designation 850Ci can therefore have both engine variants, depending on the year of manufacture.

Comments of this past auction
LG Tom
