Model history:

The Mercedes-Benz G-Class (G stands for off-road vehicle) is a model series that has been produced since 1979. Since then, the vehicle has hardly changed in its basic form, but technically it has undergone constant improvements, especially with regard to engine variants and safety features. Over time, G-Classes optimised by AMG were also offered: to this day, they are the ultimate G-models in the respective model series and provide goosebumps with their distinctive engine sound and rich torque: G 55 AMG, G 63 AMG and G 65 AMG are the names for these most powerful G-models.

General information about the vehicle:

A Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG V8 Supercharged G63 conversion, which dates back to 2006, can now be purchased in this auction. This G-model with the VIN WDB4632701X166173 is a Dutch import, which, according to the seller, has a total of 2 owners and has TÜV until November 2023. A checkbook is not available and the history can unfortunately no longer be traced due to missing documents, but the AMG is registered and fully roadworthy.

Exterior paint/paint/body:

Externally, this G-model has the AMG look of 2020, all conversion measures and modifications seem to have been carried out in proper condition and no damage to the plastic add-on parts or trim elements can be seen. The seller mentions that the exterior, which is painted in black, has been preserved in perfect condition and that the AMG is accident-free and repaint-free. Exterior rims/brakes/chassis:

Tyres of the Goodride brand - which, after consultation with the seller, have a state of preservation of approx. 70-90% - are mounted on original Mercedes-Benz alloy wheels. The current owner certifies that the brake system has an assessment of the condition of approx. 50-70% and, according to him, there are no inconsistencies in the area of the chassis.

Interior:

The entire interior was also modelled on the G63: the interior features a red/black colour scheme and a rhombus pattern on the door panels as well as in the seat centres and leather headrests. Coarse signs of wear or even missing parts are apparently not present inside this G-model. The equipment includes, among other things: fire extinguisher, hands-free kit, multicontour seat/multicontour backrest driver's seat, Parktronic system (rear), electric sunroof, sound system, TV tuner, auxiliary heating, refrigerator and CD changer. Mileage:

Approximately 173,000 kilometres can be read on the digital speedometer in the instrument cluster of this AMG G-model - all switches, displays and controls as well as instruments do their job without any problems.

Engine:

A supercharged V8 engine works in the front of this Mercedes-Benz G-model, which unleashes a whopping 476 hp on the road via an automatic transmission via all-wheel drive. The last service work took place in November 2021.

Subsoil:

With the exception of slight flash rust, no inconsistencies can be found on the underside of the G-model that could tarnish the unwelded underbody condition of this Mercedes-Benz. According to the seller, this G55 AMG V8 compressor G63 conversion offered here is a unique piece and appears very modern due to the 2020 look despite its year of construction from 2006. The seller also mentions that the car has no problems and is visually and technically in good condition.
