Model history
In 1993, the C36 AMG was the first true high-performance model in the C-Class and also the first result of the newly founded partnership between Mercedes-Benz and AMG. Equipped with a hand-assembled 3.6-liter inline six-cylinder engine, the C36 AMG delivered up to 287 hp and reached an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. With its sporty suspension, subtle body modifications, and exclusive equipment, it was considered a serious rival to the BMW M3. Only around 5,200 units were produced worldwide, making the C36 AMG a rare gem today.

Questions and Comments
