Model history:

In October 1971, the 350 SLC of the C107 series was presented as the successor to the W111 Coupé at the Paris Motor Show. Unlike the W111, however, the C107 was not based on the S-Class, as at that time it was not yet possible to fall back on the basis of the new W116. Instead, the decision was made to orient the coupe on the R107 SL. The wheelbase of the roadster has been extended by a remarkable 36cm to ensure sufficient legroom on the rear seat. As usual with a Mercedes coupe, the side windows can be completely lowered without disturbing B-pillars. Within the ten-year production period, the SLC found a total of 62,888 buyers.

The Mercedes with the chassis number WDB10702612002431 was first registered in Tenerife in 1981 and had a total of three vehicle owners.
