Model history
The Mercedes-Benz W124 was developed as the successor to the successful W123 series and set new standards in technology, aerodynamics, and safety. Development began in the late 1970s and was heavily influenced by the then-new W201 compact class. With series production starting in 1984, the W124 presented itself as a well-designed sedan with clean lines, high-quality workmanship, and technical durability—qualities that make it a sought-after modern classic today.

Comments of this past auction
LG Tom
